How to

Add a friend

Friends see each other’s PRO Scans in 3D.

  1. Tap Me, then Friends.
  2. Type their exact handle in Add a friend by @handle, then tap Search on the keyboard.
  3. Tap Add. Once they accept, you’re friends.

Good to know

  • Requests waiting for you show a number beside Friends on Me. Tap Accept or Decline.
  • If they’d already asked you, adding them makes you friends straight away.
  • Only an exact handle finds someone: nobody can browse or search by name.
  • Changed your mind about a request you sent? Tap Requested to take it back.
See a friend’s PRO Scans
  1. Tap Me, then Friends, then your friend.
  2. Tap a PRO Scan to open it full screen, and drag across it to tilt it.

Good to know

  • It shows what their own copy screen shows: the card, its condition or grade, its market price, their Favorite and Sell or trade marks, its story, what they paid and where they keep it. A part they keep from friends says Private.
Choose what friends see
  1. Tap Me, then Profile.
  2. Under Friends, switch Share PRO Scans with friends on or off. Off shares none.
  3. Under Friends can see, switch each part on or off: Condition or grade, Favorite and Sell or trade, The story, What you paid, Where you keep it.

Good to know

  • The market price always shows, because it’s the catalog’s price, not yours.
  • Friends see each PRO Scan as the card you saved it on, so if one was read as the wrong card, change the card on the copy.
Remove, block or report
  1. Tap Me, then Friends, then your friend.
  2. Tap the three dots at the top right, then Report, Block or Remove friend. To report one PRO Scan, press and hold it.

Good to know

  • Remove friend: you stop seeing each other’s PRO Scans, and either of you can ask again.
  • Block: they can’t find you or ask again, and they aren’t told.
  • Report: what you report disappears for you straight away, and Cardkept looks at it, normally within 24 hours.

Questions

Why can’t my friends see one of my PRO Scans?

Friends see every PRO Scan, shown as the card you saved it on. If you can’t find one on a friend’s page, check that Share PRO Scans with friends is on (Me, Profile, Friends), that the card has a PRO Scan, and that Cardkept hasn’t taken it off friends’ pages after a report. You decide which card it is: if a scan was read as the wrong card, change the card on the copy and friends see your choice.

What happens when I report someone?

What you report (a PRO Scan, or their picture, name or handle) disappears for you straight away. Cardkept looks at every report, normally within 24 hours, and can take a PRO Scan off friends’ pages or take an account out of Friends. They aren’t told who reported them.
